High school students · Volunteer learning · No wages or stipend

A STARTING POINT. NOT A FINISH LINE.

Real engineering.
Your first experience.

Get beyond the classroom. EngineerBridge connects engineering-curious high school students with real engineering companies to explore, prototype, test, and develop projects alongside mentors. Participation is voluntary and unpaid.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Potential is everywhere.
Opportunity should be, too.

EngineerBridge is a volunteer learning initiative for high school students. We aim to connect students with real engineering companies, school advisers, and engineering mentors for supervised practical experience and project development. Our mission is simple: connect high school students with real engineering companies for supervised, unpaid practical learning and project development.

THE ENGINEERBRIDGE PROGRAM

From “what if?” to “I made this.”

Explore a field, build confidence, and discover where your interests could take you.

01

Explore your field

Meet engineers, explore a real company’s work, and understand how a team takes an idea from a problem to a design.

Explore opportunities
02

Learn by making

Practice design, prototyping, coding, testing, and documentation through a supervised learning project with an engineering host.

Meet the community
03

Develop and share

Develop a project with guidance, reflect on what you learned, and share your work with peers and mentors. These are unpaid learning experiences, not employment vacancies.

How we will report these numbers

Figures will include a reporting period and a source. Project completion rate means students who complete the agreed learning project divided by students who started that project in the same reporting period. It is not a hiring or job-placement rate. No outcomes have been verified or published yet.

BUILT THROUGH COLLABORATION

Better together.

Industry, education, and community partners can help students turn an interest into an opportunity.

WHY ENGINEERBRIDGE WORKS

A little guidance.
A lot of possibility.

Our approach connects students with engineering practice, with learning and guidance at the center.

Our approach
01

Real engineering context

Company-hosted projects introduce students to real tools, design decisions, and team workflows at a level appropriate for high school learners.

02

Learning with people

Engineering mentors and school advisers help students ask questions, set manageable goals, and learn through feedback.

03

Experience you can explain

Students practice prototyping, testing, and development, then document their learning rather than compete for a job offer.

MORE THAN CLASSROOM LEARNING
