ABOUT ENGINEERBRIDGE
We’re building a first step into engineering for high school students—and a community to support the steps that follow.
OUR MISSION
WHY WE’RE HERE
A classroom introduces ideas. Working with engineering teams helps students understand how those ideas become prototypes, software, test results, and practical decisions.
EngineerBridge is designed to make that first encounter possible. Engineering companies provide a learning context, mentors explain the work, school advisers help shape appropriate participation, and students learn by doing.
Our focus is high school students who want to experience engineering before college. All participation is voluntary and unpaid: no wages or stipend are offered. The purpose is supervised learning, practical experimentation, and development—not filling a company’s staffing needs.
MEET THE TEAM
Students, advisers, engineering mentors, and participating organizations each have a voice in the program.
Names, photos, and personal biographies will be added after the team information is confirmed. The cards below describe planned responsibilities.

Coordinates the learning program, connects schools and engineering hosts, and helps define appropriate project scopes.
Student Representative
Brings student questions, interests, and feedback into program planning and helps new participants feel welcome.
Teacher & Adviser Representative
Represents school advisers, supports learning goals, and helps coordinate age-appropriate participation and school arrangements.
Engineering Mentor Representative
Connects students with engineering practice and guides prototyping, testing, documentation, and development.
PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS
Engineering hosts, schools, and community organizations each contribute a different kind of support.
Engineering companies
Introduce real engineering workflows, propose suitable learning projects, and provide mentor guidance and supervised access to tools.
PARTICIPATION TO BE CONFIRMEDSchools & advisers
Help students connect practical experiences with their studies and coordinate learning plans and appropriate participation.
PARTICIPATION TO BE CONFIRMEDCommunity organizations
Bring students together through volunteer workshops, shared learning spaces, and project events.
PARTICIPATION TO BE CONFIRMEDNames and approved logos will be added when participation is confirmed.
OUR APPROACH
These principles guide how we want the program to work. They are commitments, not claims of measured outcomes.
Make requirements understandable. Help students see which opportunities fit their age, interests, and starting point.
Create room to experiment, ask for feedback, and learn from work that doesn’t go to plan.
Encourage students to share ideas and support one another as they explore different paths.
